Why is that over the generations there have been people who have attempted to create change. Yet, here we are . . . still hoping change will come. In fact,
S. David Freeman, the Green Cowboy, fought his entire life (94yrs) to bring renewable energies to the United States. He passed away on May 12th. While he accomplished many great things, still his legacy goes mostly unfulfilled.
WHY?
Because administrations are always too slow to act. However, there are two critical areas that “we the constituents” can change (without permission from big brother) that not only puts an end to political diverseness and inaction, but heals and evolves the earth as well as all her living creatures – us included.
I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of seeing emails asking me to sign a petition for this and that only to have politicians sideline them for their personal agendas. I don’t want to play that game anymore – it’s not accomplishing anything, especially when the fix is so simple. Below are the two areas of life that if changed would radically alter and elevate our drastically declining American dreams.
Food: Changing our food production and the way we eat. Implementing organic gardens in every school teaches children the critical balance between them and the earth, as well as the importance of nurturing one’s body, mind and soul with healthy foods. And let’s not even talk about the added value of feeding throngs of people throughout those neighborhoods while doing away with costly and unhealthy lunch programs. We are of the earth – we just don’t teach that anymore, which is one of the reasons things have gone so awry.
Education: Teaching the science of intuition. Albert Einstein said, “You can’t solve the problem with the same thinking that created it.” Of course, you realize he is speaking about intuition and even used it to make his life-altering discoveries. Interestingly, Forbes called intuition the highest form of intelligence and listed it as one of the top ten qualities of all great leaders. If we want higher and lasting change, we have to teach children how to work with their core instincts as the means for achieving personal responsibility and global peace – because that’s what it’s designed to do! Makes you wonder why this skill was demonized. Perhaps to keep us out of our power – imagine what would happen if we had that back.
Teaching the science of intuition and implementing fruit and vegetable gardens in every school provides the new thinking and connected understanding the future generations will need if they are to right the massive world problems mounting as we speak.
