YES, YOUR INTUITION IS WORKING: Why your intuition at times appears to be off

It’s often thought that because I use my intuition, I have life completely figured out and that I’m always on my path and thriving without effort or stress.

If only!

If you are like me and most people, you are uncertain if your intuition is working properly. So just how do you know if your higher senses are operating the way they should?

Well…life will perfectly unfold before you with no effort or hardship…right? What if the answer is wrong?

I hear from people all the time that they feel their intuition has let them down by either leading them into the wrong relationship, the wrong career, even the wrong behaviors. Except, to think that intuition should magically make us perfect is to misunderstand it’s role in our lives.

Intuition isn’t designed to ensure that you get everything “right” and never stray off path. Rather, intuition serves to bring you into the experiences you need in order to determine what is right, or not right, for you and sometimes that means having to endure less than ideal events so you can growth.

Think of it like this . . . if you knew you were going into a relationship that would break your heart, you likely wouldn’t engage in it. Yet in not engaging you would inadvertently miss out on learning the depth of your emotions and ability to love as well as the patterns you wish to change about yourself in relationship based on what worked for you versus what did not work.

You grow through trial and error that your intuition leads into because it knows you need the lesson in order to have what you really want in life. Therefore, blaming your intuition for leading you into difficult circumstances is like killing the messenger for doing her job.

Let go of the myth that intuition makes everything perfect . . . see what it wants to teach you . . . then grow and expand in any way you desire.

Have Fun!
