What Ending Are You Facing Today?

by kedondeng

As of last summer, I have seen the end of many things. I have had to let go of family members, friendships, office locations, ideas that as a healer I should be able to maintain perfect health, and all my expectations of what I thought should or shouldn’t be. It has been challenging but these endings were necessary because these elements were creating limitation and lack in my life and I just couldn’t see it until they had reached their end. Consequently, I feel like I have had to reinvent myself. In many ways I’m not the same person I was just a year ago. Suddenly everything is different. I’m different. I feel like I’m learning to walk all over again. However, what I found interesting and somewhat comforting about this trend of endings is that it seems I’m not alone. All of the clients I have read for over the last year and all my friends and loved ones are going through the same ideas of letting go and ending the things in their lives that are not serving their higher purpose. If you too are facing an end of one kind or another, take comfort in knowing that this is a collective cycle which in the long run will allow us to come into alignment with what is in our highest good.

The issues we are facing with this collective cycle of surrender are foundational elements. Any element of our personal support, safety, security, home, family, and finance are all affected by this transition. Ultimately, the things we are being asked to surrender are the cracks in our foundations. If the people or things in our lives are not supportive in an unconditional, compassionate, and loving manner, they will not sustain us in the future and therefore must go away today. In that sense, we are being asked (or forced depending on how you see it) to end the relationships, careers, ideals, and beliefs that hold us back so we can begin attracting and enacting relationships and such that will support us well into the future.

Change is rarely easy but it is necessary. If you have been seeking change or desiring that your passions come true, you have invoked this cycle of ending, letting go, and surrender as a means of getting you where you need to go to have what you truly want. Don’t give up! The transformation is nearly completely. By the end of September, the collective cycle will once again shift and we will no longer be transforming individually but will begin the greater collective transformation of our communities and ways of living. If you thought this last year has been crazy…wait to see what this new year and cycle ushers our way. For now, don’t be afraid to be bold, to be yourself, and to take a leap of faith in ways that support your heart and your desires. This is truly the time to be the change you wish to see in the world.

  1. You once again peeked into my soul and put to page what I am going through….change. Thank you for reminding me to stay focused and to not lose sight on what I have been asking for. What we must remember is that it is Fear…the fear of the unknown that makes change so difficult. Fear is nothing but a roadblock. When we change Fear to Faith the process will be much more seamless.

    1. Agreed! It’s funny how in the era of religion we have so little faith. But maybe that’s the problem…we have no faith in ourselves because we keep placing our faith in someone like Jesus to save us when really he was our example of how to save ourselves.

  2. I opened this and I don’t know why. As strange as this might seem the message above was something I needed to read. It was as though you knew what I was thinking at this very moment. I am still trying to change fear to faith.

    1. That’s interesting. I felt compelled to write this blog because I knew it was what people needed to hear today. Glad you found it helpful. 🙂
